please go to the clinic directory and put in your city and it will pull up many of the resources in your area. Just make the phone call. Every city also has free county help, just call 411 or even 911 will give you a referral for help now.

My family is extremely concerned about my sister.She is delusional,paranoid,drinking and will not accept help.She also has violent fits.How can we commit her? She has been detained twice after a violent rage and they only kept her for several days before releasing her,and not requiring any check in or follow up.We are concerned for her safety and the safety of others around her.

This is a common problems of mental health patients that resist any tiype of treatment. Some city’s have what they call involuntary holds that will force treatment for only 72 hours and up to 30 days in rare cases. I would check with your county because there are programs made available that puts these type of patients into cases that get closely followed by the agency. Try putting in the city where your sister lives and look for the government type of clinics and call them.

Hello Lydia, Please go to the clinic directory on this site. Then put in the city where your brother lives. There are plenty of resources for free mental health and make the phone calls. Even though some of the sites do not mention free mental health, many of them carry scholarship programs that offer the same free mental health.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS ORGANIZATION CAN HELP PEOPLE WHO WERE DIAGNOSD WITH LUPUS. I HAVE A HEALTH INSURANCE AT THIS TIME BUT IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE AND I DON’T THINK I CAN AFFORD IT. I PAY ABOUT 538.00 A MONTH PLUS A MEDICATION FOR MY DEPRESSION THAT COST ALMOST 200.00 A MONTH AND SUCH MEDICATION IS CALLED “WELLBUTRIN.” PLEASE HELP ME IN FINDING SUPPORT, I AM NOT ASKING FOR INSURANCE ALL I AM ASKING FOR IS INFORMATION ON HOW TO GET THIS MEDICATION FOR FREE OR AT LEAST LESS AMOUNT THAT I AM PAYING. Try a major University Hosipital in your area. They receive free money for research from both the private and public sector. Also, man times the company that sells the Wellbutrin and other drugs do offer deep discounts or what they call scholarships. Your dr can also star the ball rolling on this by asking the representitives that come into their offices weekly for such a program. Than will give you a jump.

i need help dident know this was avaliable was getting help for my depression and bipolar ism then my wife lost her job and no more insurance and my counclor they droped me like a rocl and i hate the world i wake up every day not knowing what my day s gonna be like never happy and always bitter i know i need help but now one seems to care when i call my lasr therapist for help i never get to speak to him and the phone person only cares about the balance owed and my med s 1 perscription is over 300 dollars this cripples me dont know what to do

I am looking all over for this clinic directory & can’t find it anywhere. Not only for myself but for my husband & I’m about to go as far to put my zip for a phone number….but I don’t want anyone to know who I am. I read so many times on the left hand corner of this site, but it’s not on this page, not on the previous one. I have no insurance, no job & a serious issue-please help!
